YerBaTerOs's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ascencio Puente in the 7th minute. A nice corner shot did that Montalvo Huidobro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Trev Cahill quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Zoil Soltero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Trev Cahill having to make a save. Loyd Harrington might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Villegas Villagarcia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Loyd Harrington ran back to his position shaking his head. If Zoil Soltero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Trev Cahill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoil Soltero, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 21st match minute, YerBaTerOs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Héctor Gordon to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Ian York left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The River Thames FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 29th minute Zoil Soltero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trev Cahill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Plata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trev Cahill having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoil Soltero in the 34th minute of play forced River Thames FC's goalkeeper Trev Cahill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39thth minute of the game Zoil Soltero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Thames FC's Trev Cahill was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zoil Soltero struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Trev Cahill didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for YerBaTerOs. After 44 played minutes YerBaTerOs got a freekick which was hit by Héctor Gordon.

Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Trev Cahill successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 56 minutes into the match, River Thames FC's goal looked a bit too open when Díaz Dalmases came free, but Trev Cahill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristian Laycock kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Zoil Soltero took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Trev Cahill to make any attempt to save it. 66 minutes into the game, Andres Anguciana recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Trev Cahill. Andres Anguciana showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. John-Paul Wall's late challenge caught a YerBaTerOs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. John-Paul Wall helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, John-Paul Wall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Zoil Soltero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Trev Cahill. River Thames FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zoil Soltero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Trev Cahill made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Zoil Soltero sent off a good shot on target.
