Geležinis Vilkas's Denis Kolodin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Santo Amaro AC's Wincent Pawlik got a free kick in the 12th minute. Santo Amaro AC's Hudson Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arévalo Miñaca in the 14th minute of play. After 36 minutes of play, Geležinis Vilkas's Arévalo Miñaca made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hudson Arósio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arévalo Miñaca took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hudson Arósio. Hudson Arósio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, Santo Amaro AC's Raí Bezerra got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Hudson Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arévalo Miñaca in the 44th minute of play. Saulius Grapskis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Santo Amaro AC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Eduard Polozov hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arévalo Miñaca made a kick off. Arévalo Miñaca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Hudson Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd match minute, Geležinis Vilkas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zenonas Lopeta to maneuver through the defense. Raí Bezerra kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Santo Amaro AC's Ernani Martins got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Santo Amaro AC made a substitution. Leonel Arósio replaced Wincent Pawlik. After a rather tough play, Geležinis Vilkas's Zenonas Lopeta got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Geležinis Vilkas's Gabrielius Velička was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hudson Arósio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Arévalo Miñaca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hudson Arósio was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Arévalo Miñaca put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Hudson Arósio. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Geležinis Vilkas eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
