FC Blåvitt's Viktor Kielstedt quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Juan Sorin, made in the 16th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the match, Andy Robertsson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of RB Chubut's Robert Vassenius. Robert Vassenius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jarl Bredberg was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Jurand Deput capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jurand Deput really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Jarl Bredberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurand Deput, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurand Deput in the 40th minute of play forced FC Blåvitt's goalkeeper Jarl Bredberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute, Gil Talavera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Blåvitt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The crowd rose to their feet as RB Chubut's Jurand Deput slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jarl Bredberg. That made the score 2-3 after 46 minutes of play. After the first half FC Blåvitt were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gil Talavera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Gil Talavera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robert Vassenius was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. If Isaac Mingo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 minutes RB Chubut's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gil Talavera who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, RB Chubut's Robert Vassenius got control of the ball when Gil Talavera tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabríel Batistuta during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to RB Chubut getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Gabríel Batistuta hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Guaberto Bibiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Sorin made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Blåvitt's Viktor Kielstedt. Jarl Bredberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Mingo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. RB Chubut's Robert Vassenius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save RB Chubut from getting a goal against them. RB Chubut's Robert Vassenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Talavera in the 86th minute of play.
