Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Conrado Maiorga took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gregorio Fagildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurand Deput in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurand Deput in the 7th minute of play forced Deportivo Diamante U18's goalkeeper Gregorio Fagildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Dalmau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Robert Vassenius made a huge save. Robert Vassenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Maiorga in the 12th minute of the match. In the 12thth minute of the game Conrado Maiorga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RB Chubut's Robert Vassenius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 13 minutes RB Chubut's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lino Igon who took care of the corner kick. 17 minutes into the match, RB Chubut's Jurand Deput sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gregorio Fagildo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute Victor Valiente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Vassenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Fernando Firme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Diamante U18's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RB Chubut the free kick. After 26 played minutes Deportivo Diamante U18 got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Firme. In the 28th minute, Leonides Dalmau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurand Deput in the 29th minute of play forced Deportivo Diamante U18's goalkeeper Gregorio Fagildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1-0 became the score in the 31st minute when Leonides Dalmau elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. RB Chubut's Robert Vassenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Rafel in the 33rd minute of play. Gregorio Fagildo came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by RB Chubut's Jurand Deput. But to his dismay, Jurand Deput quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 38th minute, Deportivo Diamante U18's Emiliano Maxin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Robert Vassenius. Robert Vassenius yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. After 47 minutes, Jurand Deput made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Deportivo Diamante U18's Gregorio Fagildo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. RB Chubut made a substitution. Isaac Mingo replaced Jurand Deput. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Isaac Mingo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gregorio Fagildo having to make a save. 58 minutes into the match, Deportivo Diamante U18's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Mingo came free, but Gregorio Fagildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conrado Maiorga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robert Vassenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Maiorga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Diamante U18 were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after RB Chubut's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lino Igon took the corner. The corner ended in Lino Igon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but RB Chubut's Robert Vassenius did a great save. In the 74th match minute, RB Chubut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Aimar to maneuver through the defense. Robert Vassenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Maiorga, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Isaac Mingo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RB Chubut's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac Mingo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th match minute, RB Chubut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Mikolas to maneuver through the defense. Lino Igon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Robert Vassenius. RB Chubut's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gregorio Fagildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Mingo in the 92nd minute of the match. After 96 played minutes RB Chubut got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Baristo.
