After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Gervasio Isias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hamburg City Vampires's supporters rose to their feet, but Gervasio Isias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moisés Novaes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hamburg City Vampires's goalkeeper Eugeniusz Tyski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26thth minute of the game Gervasio Isias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but STAL ST WOLA's Moisés Novaes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Moisés Novaes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gervasio Isias's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After 32 minutes, Gervasio Isias made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. STAL ST WOLA's Moisés Novaes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Mao Hong Yang managed to get in a good position for a shot. After the first half Hamburg City Vampires were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A sloppy throw-in by Arkadiusz Solecki in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Hamburg City Vampires's Géza Rákosi. 58 minutes into the match, Zygmunt Bielejewski notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Hamburg City Vampires's Eugeniusz Tyski.
