An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Batista in the 27th minute of play forced Hamburg City Vampires's goalkeeper Eugeniusz Tyski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamburg City Vampires's Eugeniusz Tyski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Lembeck in the 28th minute of play. Adolfo Batista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugeniusz Tyski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Marc Hooiveld was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hamburg City Vampires's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cañada Juniors the free kick. If Benny White had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th match minute, Hamburg City Vampires was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Jan Malysz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Hamburg City Vampires's Eugeniusz Tyski. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adolfo Batista to make the kick off. Benny White struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Jonatan Bortzaioriz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hamburg City Vampires. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Lembeck in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugeniusz Tyski saved Hamburg City Vampires from getting behind. Hamburg City Vampires's Eugeniusz Tyski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Hamburg City Vampires from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Hamburg City Vampires's Eugeniusz Tyski got control of the ball when Adolfo Batista tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute, Cañada Juniors's Frank Lembeck ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eugeniusz Tyski. Eugeniusz Tyski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Benny White recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Eugeniusz Tyski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 77th minute, Dragolyub Mantovski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cañada Juniors made a substitution. Bonifacio Bartolome replaced Jan Malysz. After 79 played minutes Cañada Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Dragolyub Mantovski. 80 minutes into the match, Hamburg City Vampires's Fred Mendonça sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonatan Bortzaioriz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonatan Bortzaioriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Mendonça in the 83rd minute of the match. Hamburg City Vampires's Marc Hooiveld got his second yellow card of the match in the 85th minute. The referee ordered Marc Hooiveld off the ground. Hamburg City Vampires:s Eugeniusz Tyski showed great skill when he stopped Adolfo Batista:s penalty. In the 86th minute, Adolfo Batista made a precise shot to the right of Eugeniusz Tyski. Hamburg City Vampires's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Eugeniusz Tyski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dragolyub Mantovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Hamburg City Vampires fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cañada Juniors were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
