When Froilan Montel fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Diamante U18's protests and gave Froilan Montel a yellow card for diving instead. Jonatan Bortzaioriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Maiorga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregorio Fagildo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Lembeck in the 28th minute. Dragolyub Mantovski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Gregorio Fagildo made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Victor Valiente made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Lembeck in the 85th minute of play forced Deportivo Diamante U18's goalkeeper Gregorio Fagildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Cañada Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Dalmau came free, but Jonatan Bortzaioriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cañada Juniors getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. 汪俊 hit a great ball. Cañada Juniors walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
