Aaron Smallwood took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Olofsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game was made by Joar Bergfeldt with Joel Lundström as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyron Velasquez in the 33rd minute of the match. If Lanny Gilmore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lanny Gilmore was the one to do the kick off. Sebastian Nordlund hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute Lanny Gilmore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Edvin Mårtensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 minutes, Ralf Vase mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Team Rocco and the Santos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Team Rocco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralf Vase to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Warren Ruiz in the 56th minute really tested Sven-Edvin Mårtensson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Alfred Samuelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Smallwood having to interfere. In the 70th minute Tyron Velasquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Edvin Mårtensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A beautiful save bye Team Rocco's goalie prevented a goal. Joar Bergfeldt made in the 84th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Vincent Olofsson immediately put the ball in play. Santos FC's Terence Nicholas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Joar Bergfeldt, made in the 85th minute of the game. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lanny Gilmore's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lanny Gilmore in the 89th minute of play forced Team Rocco's goalkeeper Sven-Edvin Mårtensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Warren Ruiz in the 91st minute. The corner ended in Warren Ruiz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Team Rocco's Sven-Edvin Mårtensson did a great save. The supporters of Santos FC booed when Team Rocco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Samuelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santos FC's Aaron Smallwood played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Strandberg in the 96th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Tony Strandberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Aaron Smallwood was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
