Attila Mesterházy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Olofsson in the 5th minute of play. Vincent Olofsson struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Attila Mesterházy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Team Rocco. After 13 played minutes Team Rocco got a freekick which was hit by Mark Eliasson. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from László Madaras, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Zsombor Medve's late challenge caught a Team Rocco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zsombor Medve helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th minute, Zsombor Medve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Attila Mesterházy made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Göran Unesson sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the match, Balassagyarmat SC's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Olofsson came free, but Attila Mesterházy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Team Rocco's goal looked a bit too open when Máté Elek came free, but Sven-Edvin Mårtensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Göran Unessons short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Attila Mesterházy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Team Rocco's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ralf Vase in the 33rd minute. In the 45th minute, Team Rocco's Vincent Olofsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Attila Mesterházy. Attila Mesterházy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when László Madaras made the kick off in the second half. Attila Mesterházy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Olofsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 52 played minutes Team Rocco got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Nordlund. Göran Unesson struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Attila Mesterházy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Team Rocco. 61 minutes into the match, Team Rocco's Göran Unesson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Attila Mesterházy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Vincent Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Balassagyarmat SC made a substitution. László Csank replaced Christian Kilstedt. Attila Mesterházy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Olofsson in the 79th minute of play. Attila Mesterházy came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Team Rocco's Vincent Olofsson. But to his dismay, Vincent Olofsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Vincent Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Göran Unesson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Balassagyarmat SC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
