Erivaldo Hermes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bartolo Buinton's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. After 5th play minutes Bartolo Buinton shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Erivaldo Hermes and just under the crossbar into goal. After some careless play in the O MOTIVO ⚽ defense, Bartolo Buinton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erivaldo Hermes. The O MOTIVO ⚽ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erivaldo Hermes should have stopped the shot. Bartolo Buinton scored 0-3 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erivaldo Hermes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Evelio Milian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Bertoni in the 19th minute of play. Jarana FC's Evelio Milian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Murillo in the 21st minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Jarana FC's Bartolo Buinton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erivaldo Hermes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. A hard shot 30 in the game by Daniel Bertoni from a close distance when the talented Evelio Milian managed to make a qualified save. Jarana FC's players were relieved. O MOTIVO ⚽ were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Jarana FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emili Lean took the corner. The corner led O MOTIVO ⚽'s Mazinho Hermes to fire away a dangerous shot which Evelio Milian despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Valko De Hond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A long shot from Naldo Goiano in the 34th minute of play was well struck, but Evelio Milian made a really good save at the right post. In the 39th minute Andrew Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Milian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Jarana FC's Bartolo Buinton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erivaldo Hermes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Evelio Milian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrew Murillo in the 51st minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Jarana FC's Bartolo Buinton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erivaldo Hermes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Dito Maranhense made in the 58th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Jarana FC's Qiao Jian Ping. 60 minutes into the match, Jarana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Bertoni came free, but Evelio Milian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Jarana FC's Bartolo Buinton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erivaldo Hermes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erivaldo Hermes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Buinton in the 67th minute of the match. Bartolo Buinton might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erivaldo Hermes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bartolo Buinton ran back to his position shaking his head. 72 minutes into the match, O MOTIVO ⚽'s goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Buinton came free, but Erivaldo Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Bartolo Buinton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erivaldo Hermes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Jarana FC's Wilfredo Gitano was substituted for Bartolo Buinton. Jarana FC's Sigve Rossland was substituted for Honorio Hunfredo. A collision led to Jarana FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Wilfredo Gitano hit a great ball. In the 80th match minute, Jarana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Gitano to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Dito Maranhense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilfredo Gitano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erivaldo Hermes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. When Wilfredo Gitano came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Jarana FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfredo Gitano couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, O MOTIVO ⚽'s Erivaldo Hermes got control of the ball when Wilfredo Gitano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilfredo Gitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erivaldo Hermes having to interfere. Jarana FC's Evelio Milian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Pinho in the 93rd minute of play. The Jarana FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jarana FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
