Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Neymar Da Silva in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pavlos Fotiadis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee gave Várdomb a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Olaf Wieczorek, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cyprus Eagles AFC's Pavlos Fotiadis. 0-1. Várdomb's Marciano Marino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Várdomb from getting a goal against them. After 18 minutes, Imre Herceg made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cyprus Eagles AFC's Pavlos Fotiadis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cyprus Eagles AFC's Leonidas Stathis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marciano Marino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Cyprus Eagles AFC's zone, Olaf Wieczorek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pavlos Fotiadis came out of the goal and Olaf Wieczorek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Neymar Da Silva in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pavlos Fotiadis saved Cyprus Eagles AFC from getting behind. Pavlos Fotiadis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olaf Wieczorek in the 38th minute of the match. In the 97th minute Konstantinos Ikonomopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Marino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
