An unexpectedly hard shot by Witold Brytan in the 12th minute of play forced Darkness's goalkeeper Pete Luna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Izydor Dranka took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pete Luna. Pete Luna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Pete Luna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Malik in the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Izydor Dranka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pete Luna was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 22 minutes, Witold Brytan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jar.C Lipno and the Darkness players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Witold Brytan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Darkness's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Malik came free, but Pete Luna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Darkness's goalie and right to Ibrahim Yattara. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Darkness's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Kane Einstein took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wladyslaw Czerwinski. Wladyslaw Czerwinski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Kane Einstein could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Wladyslaw Czerwinski made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kane Einstein in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wladyslaw Czerwinski saved Jar.C Lipno from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Izydor Dranka made a precise shot to the right of Pete Luna. Darkness's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After 44 played minutes Darkness got a freekick which was hit by Peter Achenbach. In the 45th minute of the match Cesinha Souto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pete Luna showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half Jar.C Lipno were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ole-Gunnar Klose was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Witold Brytan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jar.C Lipno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Witold Brytan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pete Luna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Izydor Dranka, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Darkness's Pete Luna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witold Brytan in the 60th minute of play. Pete Luna made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Mikael Nilsson sent off a good shot on target. 65 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Hori had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wladyslaw Czerwinski. Jar.C Lipno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodolfo Hori was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Darkness made a substitution. Rodriguinho Duarte replaced Kane Einstein. Darkness's Pablo-Enrique Cuba was substituted for Aldebaran Tauro. 73 minutes into the game, one of Darkness:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pete Luna had in the 74thth minute some difficulties stopping Cesinha Souto's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Cesinha Souto notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Darkness's Pete Luna. Pete Luna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 76th match minute, Jar.C Lipno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Izydor Dranka to maneuver through the defense. Pete Luna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Izydor Dranka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Darkness's Pete Luna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izydor Dranka in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Rodriguinho Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wladyslaw Czerwinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jar.C Lipno's Wladyslaw Czerwinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodriguinho Duarte in the 82nd minute of play. Pete Luna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mikael Nilsson in the 84th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Darkness's goalkeeper Pete Luna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mikael Nilsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izydor Dranka in the 86th minute of play forced Darkness's goalkeeper Pete Luna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wladyslaw Czerwinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodriguinho Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adolfo Jacindo kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. A hard shot by Cesinha Souto from long distance, 91 minutes into the match, got Pete Luna's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 91st minute, Rodolfo Hori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mikael Nilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pete Luna having to interfere. The Jar.C Lipno supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jar.C Lipno would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
