The ŠK Horelica fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when ŠK Horelica's Ibai Koldobika looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Claudio Normando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matúš Závodský in the 18th minute of the match. Juan Enekoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Saint Etienne FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ibai Koldobika was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ibai Koldobika to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Saint Etienne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matúš Závodský came free, but Claudio Normando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
