The supporters of Jar.C Lipno booed when Saint Etienne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Oriche didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saint Etienne FC's Claudio Normando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izydor Dranka in the 5th minute of play. Greg Walker took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudio Normando. Claudio Normando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Saint Etienne FC's Claudio Normando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greg Walker in the 12th minute of play. Wladyslaw Czerwinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolek Wojno, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the game, Jar.C Lipno's Mikael Nilsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudio Normando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greg Walker in the 25th minute of play forced Saint Etienne FC's goalkeeper Claudio Normando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jar.C Lipno's Wladyslaw Czerwinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tolek Wojno in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Juan Enekoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 31 minutes, Mikael Nilsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jar.C Lipno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikael Nilsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claudio Normando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Nilsson in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Saint Etienne FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cesinha Souto was slow to take the kick. During this time Jar.C Lipno's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Cesinha Souto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Claudio Normando quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 35th minute Greg Walker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Normando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th match minute, Jar.C Lipno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Malik to maneuver through the defense. After 42 minutes of play, Jar.C Lipno's Mikael Nilsson made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudio Normando was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mikael Nilsson made a kick off. After 50 played minutes Jar.C Lipno got a freekick which was hit by Lukasz Sakowicz. In the 55th match minute, Saint Etienne FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Oriche to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Mikael Nilsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jar.C Lipno's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikael Nilsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Normando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wladyslaw Czerwinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Gigliotti in the 57th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Saint Etienne FC's zone, Izydor Dranka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Normando came out of the goal and Izydor Dranka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mikael Nilsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Claudio Normando made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mikael Nilsson got free with Claudio Normando in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Saint Etienne FC's Claudio Normando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Saint Etienne FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Jar.C Lipno booed when Saint Etienne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Gigliotti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximino Errapel's late challenge caught a Jar.C Lipno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximino Errapel helped the player get up and apologised. Maximino Errapel hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izydor Dranka in the 74th minute of play forced Saint Etienne FC's goalkeeper Claudio Normando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Maximino Errapel put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Wladyslaw Czerwinski. Tolek Wojno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Wladyslaw Czerwinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saint Etienne FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. 89 minutes into the match, Saint Etienne FC's goalkeeper Claudio Normando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mikael Nilsson. After some careless play in the Saint Etienne FC defense, Mikael Nilsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudio Normando. The Saint Etienne FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudio Normando should have stopped the shot. The Jar.C Lipno players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
