With a little luck, Várdomb's Marciano Marino got control of the ball when Olov Deckberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, AIK FOTBOLL's Maximilian Åström got a free kick in the 36th minute. After some careless play in the AIK FOTBOLL defense, Olaf Wieczorek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arne Kilström. The AIK FOTBOLL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne Kilström should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in AIK FOTBOLL's zone, Pape Lillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arne Kilström came out of the goal and Pape Lillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evert Dahlqvist was the one to do the kick off. Várdomb's Olaf Wieczorek got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 53 minutes into the match, AIK FOTBOLL's goal looked a bit too open when Neymar Da Silva came free, but Arne Kilström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th match minute, AIK FOTBOLL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gürkan Gurka to maneuver through the defense.
