In the 8th minute of the match De Horsterboeren SV got a corner. FC SAUE KINGS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joris Zoetmulder ran over to the corner to take the kick. Stephan Wielens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Voldemar Ülevain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oskar Vesterberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shi Yao Zhen in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ailar Luuse saved FC SAUE KINGS from getting behind. After 27 minutes of play, De Horsterboeren SV's Shi Yao Zhen made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ailar Luuse was left in no man's land by his defense there! The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Shi Yao Zhen to strike the kick off in the second half. Oskar Vesterberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stephan Wielens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Birjaio in the 54th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Anthony Terpstra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th match minute, De Horsterboeren SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Orlanda to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers German Orlanda in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ailar Luuse saved FC SAUE KINGS from getting behind. Ailar Luuse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oskar Vesterberg in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, FC SAUE KINGS's Raimundo Birjaio got a free kick in the 68th minute. Stephan Wielens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Birjaio in the 73rd minute of play. Despite this Stephan Wielens quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of De Horsterboeren SV booed when FC SAUE KINGS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Birjaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC SAUE KINGS's Bastiaan Teurfs got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, De Horsterboeren SV's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Birjaio came free, but Stephan Wielens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 minutes, Shi Yao Zhen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Horsterboeren SV and the FC SAUE KINGS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Stephan Wielens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Birjaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 94 minutes into the match, De Horsterboeren SV's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Birjaio came free, but Stephan Wielens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
