Jan Roos came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by De Horsterboeren SV's Oskar Vesterberg. But to his dismay, Oskar Vesterberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Stephan Wielens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Cebo in the 28th minute of play. Jan Roos made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when German Orlanda sent off a good shot on target. After 33 minutes, Ruben Elixio made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. De Horsterboeren SV's Stephan Wielens tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Shi Yao Zhen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Jan Roos made a huge save. In the 43rd minute, Ruben Cebo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shi Yao Zhen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

52 minutes into the match, chacarita1969's goal looked a bit too open when German Orlanda came free, but Jan Roos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 74th minute Edward Wijk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Roos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavio Bento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan Roos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Yao Zhen in the 78th minute of the match.
