Hakkı Kenan Ushan hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute Alvin Viru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Errapel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, FC Goodfellas's goalkeeper Zé Galvão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolfo Cordeiro. Alvin Viru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Errapel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Santa Maradona's goalkeeper Jonathan Errapel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Santa Maradona's Jonathan Errapel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvin Viru in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match FC Goodfellas got a corner. Santa Maradona's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ioan Felix ran over to the corner to take the kick. FC Goodfellas's Ioan Felix was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Errapel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvin Viru in the 27th minute of play forced Santa Maradona's goalkeeper Jonathan Errapel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, FC Goodfellas's Alvin Viru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Errapel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half FC Goodfellas were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Nabar during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 51st match minute, Santa Maradona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Nabar to maneuver through the defense. Santa Maradona's Jonathan Errapel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvin Viru in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Santa Maradona getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ratan Ayala hit a great ball. With a little luck, Santa Maradona's Jonathan Errapel got control of the ball when Samy Froidefond tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Santa Maradona's Herminio Birila got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santa Maradona's goalkeeper Jonathan Errapel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 80 minutes Santa Maradona's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maxim Constantinescu who took care of the corner kick. The corner led FC Goodfellas's Maxim Constantinescu to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Errapel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 83rd minute FC Goodfellas were awarded a corner. Maxim Constantinescu went to the cornerflag to take it. If Dilmen Parshan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Edy Mondino managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Goodfellas's supporters rose to their feet, but Edy Mondino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Errapel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to FC Goodfellas getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Mario Raidmets hit a great ball. In the 89th minute Rigoberto Thomas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Errapel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samy Froidefond in the 90th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Goodfellas's Dilmen Parshan got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute FC Goodfellas were awarded a corner. Maxim Constantinescu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FC Goodfellas's Edy Mondino to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Errapel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Goodfellas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
