The Gudhem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sverker Lindgren should have stopped the shot. 12 minutes into the match, Gudhem's goal looked a bit too open when Cyryl Arbaszewski came free, but Sverker Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sverker Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 김 영 in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of Shaolin soccer booed when Gudhem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Sundberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Billy Dahlberg in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wlodzimierz Osielski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sverker Lindgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kryspin Krzynowek in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Shaolin soccer's Cyryl Arbaszewski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sverker Lindgren. Sverker Lindgren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. After having played for 29 minutes, Kryspin Krzynowek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shaolin soccer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kryspin Krzynowek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute Cyryl Arbaszewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverker Lindgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Shaolin soccer's Sverker Lindgren threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cyryl Arbaszewski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freek Saarberg got free with Sverker Lindgren in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sverker Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freek Saarberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 36 played minutes Cyryl Arbaszewski rounded Gudhem's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 5-0. Sverker Lindgren came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Shaolin soccer's Herbert Walczyk. But to his dismay, Herbert Walczyk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. With an all-out effort, Shaolin soccer's Sverker Lindgren threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kryspin Krzynowek, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 44th minute, Samuel Sundberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sverker Lindgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herbert Walczyk in the 45th minute. Sverker Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Walczyk in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, 김 영 dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sverker Lindgren, 7-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Herbert Walczyk was the one to do the kick off. Sverker Lindgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyryl Arbaszewski in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, 김 영 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shaolin soccer fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. 57 minutes into the match, Gudhem's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Walczyk came free, but Sverker Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Freek Saarberg made a precise shot to the right of Sverker Lindgren. Gudhem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. 65 minutes into the game, Herbert Walczyk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Sverker Lindgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyryl Arbaszewski in the 68th minute of play forced Gudhem's goalkeeper Sverker Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Cyryl Arbaszewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sverker Lindgren. Gudhem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cyryl Arbaszewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. 73 minutes into the game, Elias Askestät was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gudhem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shaolin soccer the free kick. In the 74th minute Lucjan Siekierski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverker Lindgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shaolin soccer's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucjan Siekierski in the 76th minute. The corner led Shaolin soccer's 김 영 to a score. 13-0 in the 76th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Cyryl Arbaszewski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 14-0. Sverker Lindgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Shaolin soccer's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucjan Siekierski in the 87th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Kryspin Krzynowek heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Sverker Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Walczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 91 minutes of play, Shaolin soccer's 김 영 made it 16-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sverker Lindgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! 94 minutes into the match, Gudhem's goal looked a bit too open when 김 영 came free, but Sverker Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sverker Lindgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Walczyk in the 95th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Cyryl Arbaszewski put it in 17-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sverker Lindgren. There was no doubt that Shaolin soccer were the better team. Shaolin soccer's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
