Gudhem's Sverker Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Thomas in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Rodolfo Cordeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sverker Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Sverker Lindgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rigoberto Thomas's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 25th minute of the match Santa Maradona got a corner. Gudhem's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Haroldo Martxot ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Santa Maradona's corner Haroldo Martxot fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sverker Lindgren quite easily take care of the ball. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Rodolfo Cordeiro sped through Gudhem's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sverker Lindgren. Sverker Lindgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Errapel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billy Dahlberg in the 52nd minute of the match. Sverker Lindgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hakkı Kenan Ushan in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Elias Askestät hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gudhem's Sverker Lindgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Gudhem from getting a goal against them. 61 minutes into the game, Santa Maradona's Hakkı Kenan Ushan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miguel Transito took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sverker Lindgren. Sverker Lindgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. If Rigoberto Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Santa Maradona fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Santa Maradona's Rodolfo Cordeiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-11 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Santa Maradona's Fernando Nabar got a free kick in the 84th minute. Valter Olofsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Gudhem getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Johnny Hultin hit a great ball. In the 95th minute Folke Fribäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Errapel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santa Maradona's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
