Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hílton Cardoso in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Mendes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raí Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radamel Aguero, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dedê de Senna got free with Ismael Mendes in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicola Frei charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicola Frei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes Flores da Cunha - RS got a freekick which was hit by Nicola Frei. When Nicola Frei came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Flores da Cunha - RS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicola Frei couldn't finish the play. Raí Bertassi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Radamel Aguero went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radamel Aguero in the 38th minute of play. Raí Bertassi came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Flores da Cunha - RS's Radamel Aguero. But to his dismay, Radamel Aguero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After some careless play in the 27 de Mayo defense, Nicola Frei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raí Bertassi. The 27 de Mayo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raí Bertassi should have stopped the shot. Radamel Aguero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 47 minutes into the match, 27 de Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Radamel Aguero came free, but Raí Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Radamel Aguero made a kick off. Nicola Frei came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Raí Bertassi could save by the left post. Radamel Aguero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raí Bertassi having to interfere. 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save 27 de Mayo from getting a goal against them. After 60 minutes 27 de Mayo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Radamel Aguero who took care of the corner kick. Radamel Aguero made a great header on Flores da Cunha - RS's corner, it was just that 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Radamel Aguero put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Raí Bertassi. 66 minutes into the match, Nicola Frei notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi. Raí Bertassi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Radamel Aguero scored 0-8 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raí Bertassi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicola Frei scored 0-10 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raí Bertassi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A nice corner shot did that Radamel Aguero got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Raí Bertassi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Boruc Matela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raí Bertassi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicola Frei in the 88th minute. 90 minutes in the game, Nicola Frei fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Raí Bertassi having to interfere. A throw-in in the 91st minute of the game was made by Adhemar Furlan with Luiz Fabiano Albuquerque as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 92nd minute, Nicola Frei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flores da Cunha - RS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-11. After a defensive mix-up in 27 de Mayo's zone, Lucas Duardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raí Bertassi came out of the goal and Lucas Duardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flores da Cunha - RS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
