Gudhem's Billy Dahlberg suffered a fractured collar bone after 23 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Elmer Harjanne fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Sverker Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuukka Liimatainen, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Tuukka Liimatainen scored 6-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sverker Lindgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th minute, Tuukka Liimatainen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Gudhem's Sverker Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilmo Kaven in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Gudhem's goal looked a bit too open when Tarmo Heikkinen came free, but Sverker Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Tuukka Liimatainen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Gudhem's Sverker Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuukka Liimatainen in the 81st minute of play. In the 85th minute Tuukka Liimatainen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverker Lindgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
