The supporters of 27 de Mayo booed when Gaviotas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Lihach didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to 27 de Mayo getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Luiz Fabiano Albuquerque hit a great ball. The supporters of Gaviotas FC booed when 27 de Mayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Eduardo Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raí Bertassi was a little too slow when Inocencio Patxi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. Geronimo Berenguer had several of the 27 de Mayo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Raí Bertassi as he didn't even see the shot coming. Raí Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Lihach, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Raí Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Patxi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raí Bertassi was a little too slow when Geronimo Berenguer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 3-0. 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Lihach in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Hílton Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zein Tutupoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ariel Lihach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Raí Bertassi made a huge save. Raí Bertassi made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Inocencio Patxi sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dedê de Senna to make the kick off. Raí Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Lihach in the 52nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hílton Cardoso during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hílton Cardoso hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Gaviotas FC made a substitution. Mariano Madaleno replaced Armando Azubeli. In the 59th minute of the match 27 de Mayo got a corner. Gaviotas FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dedê de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Zein Tutupoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaviotas FC's Enzo Julian was substituted for Eleuterio Nardo. Gaviotas FC made a substitution. Arnoldo Pueblo replaced Geronimo Berenguer. Raí Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Lihach, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Gaviotas FC's goalkeeper Zein Tutupoli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dedê de Senna. In the 85thth minute of the game Ariel Lihach who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Julian in the 86th minute of play forced 27 de Mayo's goalkeeper Raí Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariel Lihach scored 6-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raí Bertassi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes into the match, Arnoldo Pueblo notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi. Raí Bertassi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
