Danilo Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Napoleon Glozor, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Tulio Maravilha recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hubert Ahlfors. In the 17th minute Timofey Solomakhin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Ahlfors saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Napoleon Glozor made a precise shot to the right of Danilo Guerra. AITEC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. SteffosPojkar FF's Maximilian Seemayer got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 48 minutes into the match, AITEC's goal looked a bit too open when Greg Gavan came free, but Danilo Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

SteffosPojkar FF made a substitution. Claes Danielsson replaced Otto Kleiveland. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Napoleon Glozor in the 81st minute of play forced AITEC's goalkeeper Danilo Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Otávio Gonzales got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground.
