Mekki Item made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 7th minute, Anak Selby left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bandung Tigers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Bandung Tigers's Homero Azteca got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 16th minute, Paulo José Barral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Groll in the 28th minute of play forced Bandung Tigers's goalkeeper Mekki Item to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mekki Item took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qiao Ang Le, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34thth minute of the game Qiao Ang Le who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bandung Tigers's Mekki Item was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anak Selby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chupan Mangas hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Leopoldo Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Mekki Item made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Bebeto Medeiros sent off a good shot on target. Chupan Mangas kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Umberto Cunha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anak Selby went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Pégasus F. C. made a substitution. Adrian Czornomaz replaced Qiao Ang Le. Chupan Mangas made in the 65th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Samuca Tepedino. In the 66th minute, Kurt Groll made a precise shot to the right of Mekki Item. Bandung Tigers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Czornomaz in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mekki Item saved Bandung Tigers from getting behind. In the 70th minute of the match Pégasus F. C. got a corner. Bandung Tigers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gilberto Soeiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Pégasus F. C.'s Gilberto Soeiro to fire away a dangerous shot which Mekki Item despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Umberto Cunha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anak Selby went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute, Chupan Mangas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Umberto Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anak Selby in the 78th minute of play. Leopoldo Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Umberto Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Pégasus F. C. getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Marian Gondela hit a great ball. A collision led to Bandung Tigers getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Rui Prates hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anak Selby in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Umberto Cunha saved Pégasus F. C. from getting behind. In the 88th minute of the match, Samuca Tepedino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mekki Item saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
