An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Henriksson in the 18th minute of play forced AITEC's goalkeeper Danilo Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Filip Soetemans put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Danilo Guerra. 23 minutes into the match, Filip Soetemans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danilo Guerra. Filip Soetemans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Danilo Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Vides charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto Vides the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes AITEC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Vides. In the 45th minute, Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Olgierd Wojtowicz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. With a little luck, AITEC's Danilo Guerra got control of the ball when Filip Soetemans tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tulio Maravilha made a kick off. Danilo Guerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filip Soetemans's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After some careless play in the AITEC defense, Henrik Henriksson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danilo Guerra. The AITEC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danilo Guerra should have stopped the shot. Filip Soetemans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Danilo Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgierd Wojtowicz in the 65th minute of play. Danilo Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Henriksson in the 67th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, AITEC's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Soetemans came free, but Danilo Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AITEC's Danilo Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Soetemans in the 87th minute of play. If Henrik Henriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filip Soetemans in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danilo Guerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 96 minutes, Fiori Dantas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AITEC and the Fenerbahce ISTANBUL players grew even worse after the yellow card. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fenerbahce ISTANBUL had played much better football throughout.
