After 15 minutes of play, Tallboda Gunners's Martin Lang made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Linus Stenqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Otávio Gonzales kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind AITEC's goalkeeper Danilo Guerra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 29 played minutes AITEC got a freekick which was hit by Raí Lara. 32 minutes into the match, Martin Lang notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of AITEC's Danilo Guerra. Danilo Guerra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Danilo Guerra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Tulio Maravilha made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Tallboda Gunners's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo José Rocha came free, but Frans Billström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 54 minutes, Linus Stenqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tallboda Gunners and the AITEC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Lang got free with Danilo Guerra in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo José Rocha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frans Billström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Tallboda Gunners's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
