In the 10th minute Anak Selby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Guerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Anak Selby cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Danilo Guerra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In a very dangerous position, a player in AITEC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! In the 21st minute there was a penalty for Bandung Tigers. Xiao Jie De stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Danilo Guerra. 0-3. After 24 played minutes AITEC got a freekick which was hit by Dida Terra. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Anak Selby put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Danilo Guerra. Dida Terra made in the 36th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Timofey Solomakhin however managed to control. Bandung Tigers's Mekki Item played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tulio Maravilha in the 40th minute of play. When Augusto Vides fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AITEC's protests and gave Augusto Vides a yellow card for diving instead. Augusto Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Danilo Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anak Selby in the 44th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tulio Maravilha was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, AITEC's goal looked a bit too open when Anak Selby came free, but Danilo Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 minutes of play, AITEC's Tulio Maravilha made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mekki Item was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anak Selby might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Danilo Guerra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anak Selby ran back to his position shaking his head. Danilo Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anak Selby, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Dida Terra made in the 61st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Perry Bradfield immediately put the ball in play. A collision led to AITEC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Dida Terra hit a great ball. Mekki Item made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo José Rocha in the 68th minute of play. Perry Bradfield hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anak Selby in the 72nd minute of play forced AITEC's goalkeeper Danilo Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by AITEC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wang Zheng Yun was slow to take the kick. During this time Bandung Tigers's players had a chance to rest. 79 minutes into the game, Bandung Tigers's Anak Selby nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Danilo Guerra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. In the 85th minute, Fiori Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Anak Selby put it in 1-7 from a short distance just to the right of Danilo Guerra. Bandung Tigers made a substitution. Yoppie Duaramuri replaced Leopoldo Azevedo. Dida Terra was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Bandung Tigers played a much better game than AITEC and deserved their victory. The AITEC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
