Bandung Tigers's Mekki Item played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Vitucci in the 10th minute of play. Alexandros Ismael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zulkarnaen Mandaga in the 14th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Eusebio Beltran put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mekki Item. Alexandros Ismael made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Zulkarnaen Mandaga sent off a good shot on target. Bandung Tigers's Mekki Item played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Vitucci in the 24th minute of play. Leopoldo Azevedo's late challenge caught a Águilas Poblanas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bandung Tigers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anak Selby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eusebio Beltran's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Mekki Item skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Amedeo Vitucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mekki Item having to interfere. Bandung Tigers's Kiki Murtopo was substituted for Bodo Amat. The Bandung Tigers support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
