Alexandro Gavilanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batıray Sezginay, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Alexandro Gavilanes came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Stefan Zweig. But to his dismay, Stefan Zweig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 25 minutes into the match, Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Sadri Tolunay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexandro Gavilanes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexandro Gavilanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Soetemans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the game, Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Stefan Zweig nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexandro Gavilanes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Filip Soetemans might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandro Gavilanes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filip Soetemans ran back to his position shaking his head. Filip Soetemans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandro Gavilanes having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Filip Soetemans made a precise shot to the right of Alexandro Gavilanes. ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. If Stefan Zweig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd minute, Filip Soetemans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexandro Gavilanes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. If Sadri Tolunay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fenerbahce ISTANBUL were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vânderson Sá to make the kick off. Filip Soetemans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24's zone, Filip Soetemans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandro Gavilanes came out of the goal and Filip Soetemans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexandro Gavilanes made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Henrik Henriksson sent off a good shot on target. Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
