The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, SANTOS F.C's goalkeeper 庄迪翔 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adama Traore. 6 minutes into the game, Adama Traore lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated 庄迪翔. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Urtsua in the 9th minute of play forced Uí Fergusa's goalkeeper Sergio Rochet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Lochlainn Holt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 庄迪翔 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Walery Pazura dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of 庄迪翔, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adama Traore got free with 庄迪翔 in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Geronimo Ciceron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 庄迪翔 having to interfere. Adama Traore might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 庄迪翔. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adama Traore ran back to his position shaking his head. Adama Traore struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. 庄迪翔 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uí Fergusa. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by SANTOS F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Diego Lugano was slow to take the kick. During this time Uí Fergusa's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Uí Fergusa's José Maria Pitta getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. SANTOS F.C's 庄迪翔 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walery Pazura in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Uí Fergusa's Adama Traore ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind 庄迪翔. 庄迪翔 yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Du Xu Zheng struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. 庄迪翔 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uí Fergusa. When Antonio Swiderski fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SANTOS F.C's protests and gave Antonio Swiderski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th match minute, SANTOS F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Swiderski to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adan Urtsua stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gonçalo da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 庄迪翔 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adama Traore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 庄迪翔 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walery Pazura in the 57th minute of play. 庄迪翔 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adama Traore, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Princewill Akprizy Savisaar's late challenge caught a Uí Fergusa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Princewill Akprizy Savisaar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SANTOS F.C getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Princewill Akprizy Savisaar hit a great ball. But to his dismay, Adama Traore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Princewill Akprizy Savisaar was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 75 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, SANTOS F.C's Princewill Akprizy Savisaar got a free kick in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SANTOS F.C's zone, Mervin Snell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 庄迪翔 came out of the goal and Mervin Snell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 庄迪翔 came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Uí Fergusa's Adama Traore. But to his dismay, Adama Traore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 82nd minute of the match Diego Lugano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but 庄迪翔 skillfully saved the ball. 庄迪翔 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walery Pazura in the 83rd minute of the match. The supporters of SANTOS F.C booed when Uí Fergusa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Léo de Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adama Traore blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 庄迪翔 having to make a save. 96 minutes into the match, Uí Fergusa's Walery Pazura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 庄迪翔 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Uí Fergusa's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
