Wojtek Szczęsny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Naike in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute Kaberks Suder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wojtek Szczęsny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nichifor Codruț might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Washington de Lara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nichifor Codruț ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute of the match Tirense F.C. got a corner. F.C.BARLAD's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. 卓伟崇 ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dumitru Surdu thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Wojtek Szczęsny, a very annoying self made goal in the 33rd minute which led to 0-2. In the 38th minute Lisandro Mikolas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wojtek Szczęsny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandu Brădescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Washington de Lara having to interfere. With an all-out effort, F.C.BARLAD's Washington de Lara threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nichifor Codruț, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nichifor Codruț to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Nichifor Codruț managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C.BARLAD's supporters rose to their feet, but Nichifor Codruț was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Washington de Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Tirense F.C. booed when F.C.BARLAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ştefan Bara didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Tirense F.C. getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Erasmo Baiano hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, F.C.BARLAD's Nichifor Codruț sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Washington de Lara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tirense F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
