Gonçalo da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Rochet having to interfere. 庄迪翔 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Ciceron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 庄迪翔 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walery Pazura in the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, SANTOS F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Ciceron came free, but 庄迪翔 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, SANTOS F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Adama Traore came free, but 庄迪翔 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Uí Fergusa's Adama Traore nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 庄迪翔 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. José Maria Pitta took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 庄迪翔. 庄迪翔 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Uí Fergusa's Adama Traore got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute Marcelo Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Rochet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Uí Fergusa were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Du Xu Zheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SANTOS F.C's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Du Xu Zheng's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but 庄迪翔 firmly grabbed it by the left post.
