Meng Yan Jing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniil Fomin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Abandon All Hope's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Semen Afonchenko was slow to take the kick. During this time Arsenal F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Gică Busuioc heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When the final whistle sounded Arsenal F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Abandon All Hope.
