The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Leicester Foxes Academy's goalkeeper Hannes Sandwall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leif Löfdahl. Hannes Sandwall made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Leif Löfdahl sent off a good shot on target. Alfons Glad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Drake in the 8th minute of play. Alfons Glad came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Leicester Foxes Academy's Oscar Drake. But to his dismay, Oscar Drake quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alfons Glad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Young in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute Robert Dubiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Sandwall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leif Löfdahl's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Hannes Sandwall skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alfons Glad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Young in the 25th minute of play. Alfons Glad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Drake in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Leicester Foxes Academy were awarded a corner. Niles Andrews went to the cornerflag to take it. Alfons Glad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Drake's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Segmon IF's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Drake came free, but Alfons Glad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfons Glad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Young in the 39th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oscar Drake stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alan Young could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Alfons Glad made a huge save. Alan Young's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alfons Glad firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Leicester Foxes Academy's Theo Crossley slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alfons Glad. That made the score 0-2 after 56 minutes of play. Alfons Glad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Drake in the 63rd minute of the match. Johannes Rosin hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Leicester Foxes Academy made a substitution. Peter Pennant replaced Oscar Drake. In the 65th minute, Johannes Rosin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Robert Dubiel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Segmon IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Dubiel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hannes Sandwall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfons Glad made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Martin Ericsson sent off a good shot on target. Alfons Glad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Ericsson in the 83rd minute. Alfons Glad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Gol in the 87th minute of play forced Segmon IF's goalkeeper Alfons Glad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars-Erik Lidström kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The Segmon IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Leicester Foxes Academy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
