In the 38th match minute, Tabossi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Lauro to maneuver through the defense. If Lucio Sharkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

After having played for 52 minutes, Cipriano Sustrai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Sustrai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tabossi's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hulk Zaracho in the 54th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Hulk Zaracho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nery Pumpido. That made the score 0-5 in the 64 minute of play. Tabossi made a substitution.
