Silvano Arnau made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Sergio Montrel sent off a good shot on target. A nice corner shot did that Alfons Persson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Silvano Arnau quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the Noroeste Paulista defense, Faustino Abella kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damaso Roldanillo. The Noroeste Paulista fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damaso Roldanillo should have stopped the shot. Noroeste Paulista's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
