When Bruno Salles came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Sagarana Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Salles couldn't finish the play. Sagarana Clube's Yu Yang Sang got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sagarana Clube's Éder Madureira got a free kick in the 30th minute. Sagarana Clube's Rupert Dearden managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Silvinho Guerra in the 34 minute of the game. If Lindo Noia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, A.A.100Qualidade's goal looked a bit too open when Éder Madureira came free, but Egídio Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egídio Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Éder Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Salles in the 63rd minute of play forced A.A.100Qualidade's goalkeeper Egídio Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Sagarana Clube's Éder Madureira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
