After a defensive mix-up in Valar morghulis's zone, Octav Romaşcanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrei Joita's late challenge caught a Valar morghulis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrei Joita helped the player get up and apologised. Andrei Joita kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Valar morghulis's Gökay Ömür tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When FC Lutanu's Yetkiner Yasun in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Valar morghulis's İsa Fındık in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by İsa Fındık in the 19th minute of play forced FC Lutanu's goalkeeper Irinel Soneriu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Selçuk Reca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valar morghulis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Lutanu the free kick. In the 39th minute, FC Lutanu's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gökay Ömür fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gökay Ömür fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Irinel Soneriu having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yetkiner Yasun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yetkiner Yasun in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rüştü Rencber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Robert Stârcea hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Yetkiner Yasun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute Gökay Ömür shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irinel Soneriu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
