In the 6th minute, Bassa Valle FC's Comunardo De Bartolo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Pink Floyd's Fernando Gartxot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Pink Floyd from getting a goal against them. Cirilo Tebaldo hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 14th match minute, Pink Floyd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Bihar to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Bassa Valle FC's Comunardo De Bartolo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Fernando Gartxot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesco Corna in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Pink Floyd's goal looked a bit too open when Comunardo De Bartolo came free, but Fernando Gartxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pink Floyd's Fernando Gartxot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Pink Floyd from getting a goal against them. Adriano Pallini's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Fernando Gartxot skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Comunardo De Bartolo took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Fernando Gartxot to make any attempt to save it. Comunardo De Bartolo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Gartxot having to interfere. When Fernando Vela fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pink Floyd's protests and gave Fernando Vela a yellow card for diving instead. Pink Floyd's Fernando Gartxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Pallini in the 40th minute of play. Fernando Gartxot was a little too slow when Adriano Pallini got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 4-0. In the 46th minute, Francesco Corna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bassa Valle FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafael Lamberto to strike the kick off in the second half. Fernando Gartxot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francesco Corna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Pink Floyd getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Cirilo Tebaldo hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute of the match Alessandro Tonon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernando Gartxot showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fernando Gartxot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adriano Pallini went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 63rd minute Adriano Pallini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Gartxot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 played minutes Pink Floyd got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Bihar. Bassa Valle FC's Alessandro Tonon got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bassa Valle FC made a substitution. Andrea Lio replaced Arrigo Alonzi. 68 minutes into the match, Francesco Corna notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Pink Floyd's Fernando Gartxot. Fernando Gartxot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Comunardo De Bartolo took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernando Gartxot. Fernando Gartxot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Comunardo De Bartolo sped through Pink Floyd's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fernando Gartxot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Corna in the 83rd minute of play forced Pink Floyd's goalkeeper Fernando Gartxot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Paganelli took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernando Gartxot. Fernando Gartxot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Fernando Gartxot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Albanesi, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 92 minutes, Dario Di Toro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bassa Valle FC and the Pink Floyd players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pink Floyd booed when Bassa Valle FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Di Toro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rafael Lamberto came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Pink Floyd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Lamberto couldn't finish the play.
