With his leg Esteban Dreer managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when RIVER's Eric Târban fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eric Târban who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Esteban Dreer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eric Târban could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Esteban Dreer made a huge save. Kaiser!'s Esteban Dreer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Kaiser! from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in RIVER's zone, Ugutz Ibañez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Lordi came out of the goal and Ugutz Ibañez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcial Lordi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ugutz Ibañez in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute Kaiser! were awarded a corner. Díaz Calonge went to the cornerflag to take it. Díaz Calonge made a great header on Kaiser!'s corner, it was just that RIVER's Marcial Lordi managed to reach the ball for a save. If Ugutz Ibañez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Kaiser!'s goalkeeper Esteban Dreer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Kaiser!'s goal looked a bit too open when Niki Lauda came free, but Esteban Dreer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ugutz Ibañez made a kick off. After a rather tough play, RIVER's Isaac Nuxila got a free kick in the 50th minute. 53 minutes into the match, RIVER's goal looked a bit too open when Ugutz Ibañez came free, but Marcial Lordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Zadornin Niño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 64 in the game by Ugutz Ibañez from a close distance when the talented Marcial Lordi managed to make a qualified save. RIVER's players were relieved. Marcial Lordi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute, Kaiser!'s Xoan Oviedo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Xoan Oviedo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kaiser! protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Xoan Oviedo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. RIVER made a substitution. Wu Li Zhi replaced Niki Lauda. Esteban Dreer had in the 88thth minute some difficulties stopping Giovanni Lenhardt's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Esteban Dreer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wu Li Zhi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rolando Teja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Kaiser!'s Marcial Lordi threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zuñiga Goyanes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kaiser!'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Díaz Calonge in the 95th minute. Kaiser!'s Díaz Calonge was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcial Lordi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kaiser!'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
