Spectators: 7635 (Terracing: 5727, Seating: 1756, VIP seats: 152) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arnaldo Marquez took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Sven-Olof Sjöberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Candelaria FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Todd Townson kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Marciano Lekubegi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's Timoteo Michael sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Torstein Stenseth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Gregorio Elixio advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-0 in the 12th minute. Torstein Stenseth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Bart Pellen took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Torstein Stenseth to make any attempt to save it. 25 minutes into the game, Candelaria FC's Bart Pellen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torstein Stenseth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Candelaria FC's Arnaldo Marquez got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomás Bonifaco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francis Curtis, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 33rdth minute of the game Arnaldo Marquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corinthians FC's Torstein Stenseth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Marciano Lekubegi came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Candelaria FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marciano Lekubegi couldn't finish the play. Marciano Lekubegi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torstein Stenseth made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Sven-Olof Sjöberg sent off a good shot on target.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francis Curtis made a kick off. Torstein Stenseth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Olof Sjöberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. In the 52nd minute, Timoteo Michael ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Torstein Stenseth was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Sven-Olof Sjöberg took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torstein Stenseth. Torstein Stenseth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Torstein Stenseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Elixio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bart Pellen in the 60th minute of play forced Corinthians FC's goalkeeper Torstein Stenseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 minutes, Teodoro Hondaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corinthians FC and the Candelaria FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 61 played minutes Corinthians FC got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Hondaro. Candelaria FC made a substitution. Antonio Alzamendi replaced Arnaldo Marquez. In the 62nd minute, Teodoro Hondaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's Okanalp Özdil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Torstein Stenseth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Okanalp Özdil came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Candelaria FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Okanalp Özdil couldn't finish the play. Torstein Stenseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Alzamendi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Candelaria FC were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Corinthians FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marciano Lekubegi took the corner. 78 minutes into the match, Corinthians FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Gómez came free, but Torstein Stenseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th match minute, Candelaria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Gómez to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Corinthians FC defense, Okanalp Özdil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torstein Stenseth. The Corinthians FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torstein Stenseth should have stopped the shot. Torstein Stenseth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Gómez went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Candelaria FC fully deserved thier win.
