Spectators: 7651 (Terracing: 5740, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Okanalp Özdil kicked off to start the match. RIVER's Marcial Lordi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Okanalp Özdil in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's Okanalp Özdil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcial Lordi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 9 minutes, Okanalp Özdil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candelaria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Okanalp Özdil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th match minute, Candelaria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabastian Rodriguez to maneuver through the defense. When Candelaria FC's Okanalp Özdil in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RIVER's goalie prevented a goal. 19 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Oxarra came free, but Tomás Bonifaco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind RIVER's goalkeeper Marcial Lordi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Gregorio Elixio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcial Lordi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Candelaria FC were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after RIVER's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marciano Lekubegi took the corner. Marcial Lordi came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Candelaria FC's Okanalp Özdil. But to his dismay, Okanalp Özdil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience was convinced that Eric Târban's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomás Bonifaco was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Candelaria FC's Tomás Bonifaco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niki Lauda in the 33rd minute of play. Bruno Oxarra kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Marcial Lordi was a little too slow when Okanalp Özdil got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 2-0. After a rather tough play, Candelaria FC's Gregorio Elixio got a free kick in the 41st minute. RIVER's Tobias Belmiro was substituted for Bruno Oxarra. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Eric Târban could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Tomás Bonifaco made a huge save. In the 59th minute, Okanalp Özdil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcial Lordi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. RIVER's Marcial Lordi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Okanalp Özdil in the 63rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pipo Benedetto got free with Tomás Bonifaco in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Candelaria FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Timoteo Michael hit a great ball. Candelaria FC made a substitution. Sven-Olof Sjöberg replaced Antonio Alzamendi. After a rather tough play, Candelaria FC's Timoteo Michael got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Marcial Lordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by RIVER's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marciano Lekubegi was slow to take the kick. During this time Candelaria FC's players had a chance to rest. 80 minutes into the match, RIVER's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Marquez came free, but Marcial Lordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcial Lordi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. RIVER's Marcial Lordi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Marquez in the 84th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Marquez in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcial Lordi saved RIVER from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Sjöberg in the 88th minute of play forced RIVER's goalkeeper Marcial Lordi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 played minutes RIVER got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Lenhardt. Marciano Lekubegi struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Marcial Lordi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Candelaria FC. After 96 played minutes Candelaria FC got a freekick which was hit by Jefferson de Sena.
