William Rosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bart Pellen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 minutes of play, Candelaria FC's Timoteo Michael made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. William Rosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! A well-hit corner resulted in Sven-Olof Sjöberg heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Michael in the 22nd minute of play forced Vila Mascote FC's goalkeeper William Rosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Cleiton Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Bonifaco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomás Bonifaco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhang Zheng Liang in the 31st minute of play. After some careless play in the Candelaria FC defense, Kaká Mota kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomás Bonifaco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Mota in the 43rd minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Tomás Bonifaco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47th play minutes Kaká Mota shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Tomás Bonifaco and just under the crossbar into goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cleiton Vidal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Candelaria FC's Bart Pellen in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. William Rosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Okanalp Özdil in the 69th minute. Okanalp Özdil who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of William Rosa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Okanalp Özdil had several of the Vila Mascote FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 69 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-3 score and a disappointed William Rosa as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 72nd minute of the match, Okanalp Özdil got a very nice opportunity to score, but William Rosa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. William Rosa made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Antonio Alzamendi sent off a good shot on target. Vila Mascote FC's William Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Gómez in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Vila Mascote FC's goalkeeper William Rosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Okanalp Özdil. 83 minutes into the game, Kaká Mota was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vila Mascote FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Candelaria FC the free kick. Kaká Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Vila Mascote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Michael came free, but William Rosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cleiton Vidal in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Bonifaco prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
