Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francis Curtis in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcial Lordi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of RIVER booed when Corinthians FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stu Dunning didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torstein Stenseth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Francis Curtis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Corinthians FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wu Li Zhi came free, but Torstein Stenseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rosendo Osorio hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. RIVER's Marcial Lordi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Ramirez in the 92nd minute of play.
