An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Mota in the 9th minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Tomás Bonifaco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Vila Mascote FC's goalkeeper William Rosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Okanalp Özdil. A collision led to Vila Mascote FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Kaká Mota hit a great ball. Okanalp Özdil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but William Rosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Mota came free, but Tomás Bonifaco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Okanalp Özdil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Rosa having to interfere. Vila Mascote FC's William Rosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Vila Mascote FC from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Kaká Mota left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vila Mascote FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Christian Gómez was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 28 minutes into the match. One of Candelaria FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vila Mascote FC:s goal. Isaltino Brito hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Gregorio Elixio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Candelaria FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio Elixio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Rosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 35 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cleiton Vidal came free, but Tomás Bonifaco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
