After a defensive mix-up in Defensores del Ángel Gris's zone, Uriel Lleir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uriel Chorche came out of the goal and Uriel Lleir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 4th match minute, Motu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim Brandt to maneuver through the defense. Uriel Chorche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uriel Lleir's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Uriel Lleir who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Uriel Chorche when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Uriel Lleir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Uriel Chorche having to make a save. In the 16th minute Uriel Lleir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Chorche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Uriel Lleir notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Defensores del Ángel Gris's Uriel Chorche. Uriel Chorche was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Uriel Chorche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Lleir in the 24th minute of play. Uriel Lleir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Uriel Chorche having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uriel Lleir got free with Uriel Chorche in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafim Catranides in the 36th minute of play forced Motu's goalkeeper Łukasz Fabiański to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Alfonso Gilabert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Łukasz Fabiański saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Motu's Hipolito Osmundo was substituted for Uriel Lleir. Motu's Justo Stanislao was substituted for Michaël Albrecht. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonso Gilabert to make the kick off. Hipolito Osmundo took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uriel Chorche. Uriel Chorche dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. A collision led to Defensores del Ángel Gris getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Bernard Ochabski hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Hipolito Osmundo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uriel Chorche was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. 68 minutes into the game, Victorino Mendebal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Motu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores del Ángel Gris the free kick. The supporters of Defensores del Ángel Gris booed when Motu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Mendebal didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Eleuterio Chabier in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Motu's Delmiro Peru. Uriel Chorche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Osmundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Jim Brandt made a great header on Motu's corner, it was just that Defensores del Ángel Gris's Uriel Chorche managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 80th match minute, Defensores del Ángel Gris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafim Catranides to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the game, Eleuterio Chabier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Defensores del Ángel Gris's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Motu the free kick. Eleuterio Chabier kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Alfonso Gilabert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Łukasz Fabiański tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hipolito Osmundo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When Defensores del Ángel Gris's Alfonso Gilabert in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
