Marco Raebert made in the 13th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Academia B.F.'s Gustavo Martins. 13 minutes into the match, Primo Sans dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zhuang Shi Ting, 1-0. Academia B.F.'s Johan Vollander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliézer Cavalcante in the 17th minute of play. Eliézer Cavalcante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Johan Vollander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliézer Cavalcante in the 20th minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, Divina Comédia FC's Eliézer Cavalcante made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johan Vollander was left in no man's land by his defense there! Johan Vollander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliézer Cavalcante in the 29th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Eliézer Cavalcante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johan Vollander was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Academia B.F.'s Johan Vollander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliézer Cavalcante in the 33rd minute of play. Divina Comédia FC were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Academia B.F.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juan França took the corner. A collision led to Divina Comédia FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Luisito Pistolelis hit a great ball. Giss Dal Bello kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Gustavo Martins's late challenge caught a Divina Comédia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustavo Martins helped the player get up and apologised. Gustavo Martins hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Juan França shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johan Vollander showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Primo Sans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zhuang Shi Ting. Divina Comédia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Primo Sans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

After some careless play in the Academia B.F. defense, Eliézer Cavalcante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johan Vollander. The Academia B.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johan Vollander should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Academia B.F. getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Primo Sans hit a great ball. When Jeremias Porfirio fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Academia B.F.'s protests and gave Jeremias Porfirio a yellow card for diving instead. Jeremias Porfirio kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Academia B.F.'s Johan Vollander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliézer Cavalcante in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Wiliam Carioca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Academia B.F. made a substitution. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliézer Cavalcante got free with Johan Vollander in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Academia B.F.'s zone, Eliézer Cavalcante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johan Vollander came out of the goal and Eliézer Cavalcante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia B.F.'s goalkeeper Johan Vollander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
