Motu's Jim Brandt got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Uriel Lleir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th minute Uriel Lleir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Vollander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edelmiro Filipo got a throw-in 17 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Uriel Lleir. Academia B.F.'s Johan Vollander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Lleir in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Lleir in the 28th minute of play forced Academia B.F.'s goalkeeper Johan Vollander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Motu's Łukasz Fabiański played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zachary Mentus in the 32nd minute of play. Johan Vollander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Lleir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Primo Sans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academia B.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Primo Sans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Łukasz Fabiański breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Łukasz Fabiański made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Primo Sans sent off a good shot on target. Johan Vollander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Lleir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Primo Sans might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Łukasz Fabiański. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Primo Sans ran back to his position shaking his head. Motu's Łukasz Fabiański proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Motu from getting a goal against them. Johan Vollander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Lleir in the 46th minute of the match. In the 48th minute Motu were awarded a corner. Jim Brandt went to the cornerflag to take it. Motu's Jim Brandt was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Johan Vollander in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Primo Sans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Academia B.F.'s Johan Vollander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Peru in the 53rd minute of play. Delmiro Peru kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Lauro Quirino charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lauro Quirino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lauro Quirino hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Johan Vollander made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Hipolito Osmundo sent off a good shot on target. 88 minutes into the match, Motu's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Totti came free, but Łukasz Fabiański reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Motu supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Motu would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
