After some careless play in the Sandecja defense, Alfonso Gilabert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Paraense. The Sandecja fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Paraense should have stopped the shot. In the 72nd minute, Alfonso Gilabert made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Paraense. Sandecja's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. When Alfonso Gilabert came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Defensores del Ángel Gris fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Gilabert couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Defensores del Ángel Gris's Leopoldo Aimar got a free kick in the 90th minute. Defensores del Ángel Gris's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
